Terms of Use

By creating an account or using FounderDistro ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and FounderDistro.

FounderDistro is an AI-powered content generation and scheduling tool designed to help founders create and distribute content on LinkedIn and X (Twitter). The Service includes content generation, scheduling, brand voice configuration, and content calendar features.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at hello@founderdistro.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without permission.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent.
• Violate the terms of any third-party platform (LinkedIn, X, etc.) where content is published.
• Scrape or submit URLs of sites you do not have permission to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service.
• Use automated methods to abuse API limits or generation quotas.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain full ownership of the content you generate through the Service. By using the Service, you grant FounderDistro a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim any ownership over your posts, brand materials, or project data.

Content is generated using third-party AI models. While we take steps to improve quality and human-likeness of output, we do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing content before publishing it.

FounderDistro is not liable for any consequences arising from the publication of AI-generated content, including but not limited to reputational harm, platform penalties, or inaccurate claims.

• The free plan includes 3 content generations with no credit card required.
• Pro plan is billed monthly ($29/mo) or annually ($199/yr) via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@founderdistro.com.
• Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

When you connect a third-party platform (e.g. LinkedIn), you authorise FounderDistro to publish content on your behalf based on your explicit instructions. We will only post content you have reviewed and scheduled. You can revoke access at any time from Settings.

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FounderDistro's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the country where FounderDistro is registered.
